Our Team
Steven Virkus – President
Steve founded New Life Contracting in 1993 and guides the strategic direction of the company. He has 17 years of experience in the construction business, including working a sub-contractor for larger construction companies. Steve was born and raised in Cambridge, Minnesota. In his spare time, Steve enjoys working out, motor-sports, and spending time with friends and family.
Jasen Joh
nson consults with New Life on critical operations managment. Jasen brings vast knowledge of the International Remodeling Code, OSHA safety standards, and various building materials and installation practices. He oversees our sales consultants and ensures that their projects run smoothly. Jasen is from Braham, Minnesota, and enjoys hunting, playing pool, and spending time with his wife and daughter.
Bill Tomberlin – Wisconsin Regional Manager
Bill is a Vietnam era Navy Veteran and has been involved hands on in the roofing industry for over 40 years. He has graduated the Minneapolis Architectural Drafting and Commercial School, the Dale Carnegie Sales School and is a Haag certified roofing inspector. Bill was raised in the St. Croix Valley and enjoys Tournament Bass fishing, Golfing and building clubs. Most of all he enjoys spending time with his granddaughter.
Randy Gunn – Branch Manager – Madison,Wisconsin
Randy is responsible for the day to day operations in our Madison, WI location. He has over 25 years of experience in nearly all phases of the construction industry. Randy has vast knowledge of state and local building codes applicable to the areas where we conduct business. He prides himself in ongoing training of products; both old and new, along with proper installation techniques. Randy was born and raised in central Wisconsin and is veteran of the U.S. Army. He prefers to spend his time outdoors, meeting new people, and traveling.
Mark Ackart -Production Manager
Mark acts as our liason with our supplier and manufacturing companies to ensure that we are constantly up to date with the finest material and warranty options available for our homeowners. Mark keeps current on manufacturer training requirements, and develops and administers our own in house training for our sales staff. Mark began working in the home improvement industry in 1999 and at New Life since 2008. He enjoys motorcycling, golfing and fishing with his family.
Jesse Anderson - Sales Manager/Team Leader
Jesse tops an all star sales team in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area and is an annual top performer for New Life. Jesse has been in the home remodeling business for 11 years. Attended the Texas Department of Insurance; Graduate with Adjusters License and All -lines Adjustment Certification. Jesse is C.A.R.E. Certified and VSI Certified. During his non working hours Jesse enjoys motorcycling, snowmobiling; just about anything outdoors with his family and friends.
George Ramirez – Sales Manager/Team Leader
George leads yet another great sales team in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro area. Besides being a top performer for New Life, George has more than 15 years of construction background and National Account Management credentials from a large Minnesota based lawn care products corporation. Among his accredations, George is C.A.R.E. Certified and VSI Certified. In his spare time George enjoys spending his time with his family, music, working on his own home, and travelling.
The New Life Customer Service Team of over 30 customer service consultants draw on their many years of experience in the construction industry to help our clients bring their exterior remodeling projects to life.Most of our consultants grew up in the neighborhoods we serve.
