We Know What Insurance Company Adjusters Look For

Damage to your home’s roof, siding, gutters, and windows from hail and high winds is often covered by your insurance. The process can seem overwhelming, but our contractors are here to help. The guide below can help you navigate the process:

  1. Contact your insurance company’s claims center and report that you have hail or weather damage to your home. Your insurance will give you a claims number.
  2. After reporting the claim, call New Life Contracting, Inc. We will begin an evaluation using your claim number and schedule a full assessment of the damage
  3. The Insurance Company will contact you with the name and phone number of their Adjuster, along with the date and time that the Adjuster will be coming out to inspect your home. It is very important that you call New Life Contracting, Inc., with this information.
  4. Our professionals will walk through your home with the adjuster and come to an agreement on the fullscope of damage to your home.
  5. After meeting with your insurance adjuster, we will explain what work your insurance company will cover for your home and begin the repair process by setting up a time to select the products and colors to be used on your home.
  6. Once you have chosen materials and colors, we will schedule your project for production. Most projects begin within two weeks.
  7. Upon completion of your project, we will examine the completed workand pick up any remaining materials.
  8. At some point during this process, your Insurance Company will send out a claim report and the first of two checks. Please contact us to arrange the handover of this check as partial payment.
  9. Once we receive the insurance paperwork and your project has been completed, you and your insurance company will receive copies of the final invoice. When you receive the second check form the insurance company, the remainder of the invoice is due.
